Founded in 1985, the Consorzio Vini Asolo Montello is an organization dedicated to promoting and protecting the wines of the Asolo Prosecco and Montello regions in the province of Treviso. The consortium has been instrumental in securing recognition for the Asolo Prosecco DOCG, Montello DOCG, and Montello Asolo DOC, as well as the Venegazzù sub-area, ensuring that these wines meet high-quality standards and reflect the region's terroir.

In 2020, the consortium established two distinct brands, Asolo Prosecco and I Vini del Montello, to enhance marketing and communication efforts. These brands represent the diverse flavors, heritage, and narratives inherent to these appellations.

The consortium is committed to viticultural biodiversity, actively preserving native grape varieties such as Glera, the primary grape for Asolo Prosecco, and others including Bianchetta Trevigiana, Verdiso, Perera, and Glera Lunga. It also works to protect red varieties like Recantina, contributing to the preservation of local viticultural heritage.

Environmentally conscious, the Consorzio Vini Asolo Montello adopts agronomic practices that support sustainable viticulture, balancing tradition and innovation. It stands as a guardian of the land, advocating for wines that truly represent their origin, and ensuring that each bottle expresses the essence of Asolo Prosecco and Montello.
