The days can be hot, while the nights tend to be cooler. Despite these fluctuations, they remain within moderate limits, creating ideal conditions for the grapes to undergo an optimal ripening cycle and develop high levels of natural acidity. The Xanthi wine region experiences moderate rainfall, with a concentration of precipitation occurring between winter and spring.
