The Vino de Pago El Terrerazo region covers 87 hectares in the town of Utiel, located in the region of Valencia. A large part of its cultivated area (approximately 2/3) is planted with the Bobal grape.

This region has a markedly Mediterranean climate. The winters tend to have a greater continental influence, due to its cold days, while during the spring most of the rainfall is concentrated and the summers tend to be rather dry and hot.

In this region, the soils are mainly clay-loam in texture, with a low pH, and are located on a thin limestone crust.
