Consorzio di Tutela Vini Merlara

The Consorzio di Tutela Merlara DOC is the advocate of all wine producers in the Merlara region. This consortium is not only in charge of defending the interests of the producers, but also the Merlara DOC brand, maintaining the highest quality standards for each Merlara DOC wine.

In addition, the Consorzio also seeks to encourage producers to be more sustainable. That is why it carries out projects such as the Green Vision project. This project is based on 4 key pillars for wine sustainability and the conservation of the natural landscape:

• Increasing sustainability in each of the winemaking practices.
• Promotion of integrated agroecosystem management
• Increasing the productivity of agroecosystems, while caring for the biodiversity of the area.
• Promotion of sustainable tourism among each of Merlara's winegrowing stakeholders.
