Colli Martani is a DOC located in Umbria, that covers a basin located in the south of the province of Perugia. The vineyards are located northeast and southeast of the mountains that run along the territory between Bettona and Massa Martani in the wide basin south of Perugia, in the Italian region of Umbria. The vineyards are located northeast and southwest of the mountains, ranging from Bettona to Massa Martana. Colli Martani to the east borders Torgiano, while to the west it borders Assisi and to the south it borders Montefalco.

The climate of this region is Mediterranean, although with influences from the Alps. The wide diurnal thermal variations favor optimal ripening of the grapes, while the proximity of Lake Trasimeno and the Tiber River ensures that the vines have the water they need throughout the year.

The vineyards are located between 150 and 600 meters above sea level, and the soil is mainly made up of sand and limestone. In addition, the soil has good fertility.
